THE ZABU DIARIES

Zabu encountered a young boy named Kevin Plunder as he was about to be attacked by a bunch of Person-Apes. Zabu saved Kevin, and the two became companions. Zabu secured the boy as he grew to adulthood, and ultimately took about the identify Ka-Zar, which implies "Son from the Tiger". Zabu was brought to around-human intelligence as a consequence of
